Bradford came back from a goal behind to keep up their unbeaten run going but it was far from entertaining.
Both sides cancelled each other out with the first half very lacklustre indeed.
Bradford’s first real opening came from a corner taken by Daley,Conlon diving in with a powerful header which ex City keeper Gavin Ward dealt with.
Wrexham put Bradford under a little bit of pressure but failed to produce that final cutting edge in and around the box.
The deadlock was finally broken after 38 minutes by Wrexham.Ricketts could only parry a fierce shot by Roberts and in the goal-mouth melee that followed the ball somehow was prodded into the Bradford net with an assist by City defender Williams
Half Time
Wrexham 1 Bradford City 0
Bradford were by far the better team in the second half, with some good approach play but it was noticeable that Barry Conlon looked totally isolated upfront with very little support,to many balls reached the box but Claret and Amber shirts were in short supply and the promising moves just fizzled out.
Only Kyle Nix looked a likely scorer and indeed it was Nix who found the back of the net on 47 minutes.Nix twisted and turned on the edge of the area and let loose a shot that was deflected into the Wrexham net.
Wrexham 1 Bradford 1
City replaced Williams at half time with their new loan signing Ben Starosta from Sheffield United and he was soon involved with a few hard tackles on the advancing Wrexham forward line.
A hard two footed tackle by Omar Daley sent the Wrexham fans into a wild fury,21 players were involved in the melee that followed with the exception of Wrexhams keeper Ward.Omar was spoken to by Referee Woolmer and he promptly produced a yellow card for the Jamaican.
The game became ugly and unfortunately for City Eddie Johnson was the next victim of a crude Wrexham tackle.Johnson was taken off on a stretcher with stud marks on his shin.
Welshman Paul Evans replaced Johnson but he had little impact in the remaining 27 minutes of the game.
In a hectic finish Ricketts made a terrible mistake trying to dribble the ball from a back pass past a Wrexham player, he lost the ball but fortunately for City David Wetherall came to the rescue with a timely interception.
Final Score.
Wrexham 1 Bradford City 1

looks like a good point but would have expected all 3 against wrexham?

On paper maybe but Wrexham put out virtually a new side and the players were eager to impress their manager.
