Bradford ended the season on a high with a win at Crewe on Sunday, which was a win that looked as though it would result in our hosts being relegated as more than once they dropped back into the bottom four but in the end the celebrated too as they stayed up!

A first half goal was enough to secure us the points in a one-nil win at Gresty Road that meant we ended the season just outside of the play-off places in seventh with us, hopefully, building on this over the summer to take into next season….

Crewe, who knew a win would ensure they stayed up – a point probably enough, had threatened a couple of times through Dalla Valle but couldn’t make the breakthrough.

This is something that we did as Clarke (23) was in the right place at the right time, picking up a loose ball when a freekick wasn’t cleared to fire home from the edge of the area to send us into the break one-up.

Ajose was summoned from the bench by Crewe as they went in search of an equaliser, he too went close on a couple of occasions but the best chances of the half came our way with Crewe ‘keeper Rachubka making a fine save to turn Stead’s effort over the bar.

One-nil was enough to send us into the summer with a win, Crewe might have lost but they’ll arguably go into the end of season break the happier of the two sides due to their relegation escape….
Successful season?
We missed out on the League 1 play-offs and had an exceptional FA Cup run but would we have expected a little more back in August?
