As the new season draws ever nearer. We tell you all the hits and possible misses to look out for.

The Bantams start off home to Notts County on August 9th on what is expected to be one of the crowd fillers of the campaign, being the first game of the season, it tends to be the game of which all the Season Ticket Holders darn’t miss.

However just a mere week later, Bradford face local rivals Huddersfield Town in the first round of the Carling Cup, talk about a mouth-watering opener for Yorkshire!

During the Christmas holday’s Chester join in with the festives, hoping to gain revenge for last season, where City beat them 3 times! Twice in the league and in the cup! Two of those games were played in the same week.
Boxing Day see’s the Claret and Amber army go to Lincoln, in what promises to be an emotional event.

There are no games over the New Year, due it being on a thursday.

Easter see’s Bradford go to Morcombe, and host lincoln, both ties against Lincoln are on Festive holdays, here’s hoping both sets of fans will be in good spirits!

Newly Promoted champions Aldershot will be looking to cause an Impact, we travel there on the 30th August, with the return leg held 7th March.

Everyone’s favourite Accrington come to Bradford 17th January, they’ll be looking for a repeat of the 3-0 drubbing they gave us at the Coral Windows Stadium last season, However the Bantams go to Accrington earlier on the 11th October, and let’s not forget what we did to them on their home turf last season, you guessed it! we beat them 3-0 to!

The Final home game of the season is against local rivals Rotheram, a game which see’s city out for revenge, following the losses last season.

So it’s shaping up to be one hell of a season, and with the bantams being favourites, we hope we can take it all the way.

    Still think the amount of seasons this season is a testament to your loyalty, surely last season was a big disappointment.

    it definitely wasn’t what many people had hoped for but I enjoyed the year and I dunno whether we underperformed – we can’t just expect to bounce back up the league. Having had a year of consolidating and going into a division without the big wallets it’s this season the pressure is on

    I really do think it will be tight in League Two this season. If Rotherham and Bournemouth don’t recieve further penalties I am sure they will be close to the top.
