Barrau stakes his claim

Bradford City fans left scratching their heads and wondering why Xavier Barrau hadn’t been given a chance until it was too late.
The French winger scored twice to earn them a last-day draw in a meaningless match.
But Barrau’s display at least gave food for thought for next season.
He looked keen to earn a contract and with several youngsters impressing, including the injury-plagued Tom Penford, there were plenty of reasons to be optimistic.
Omar Daley, too, had one of his better games in an unfamiliar striking position, and offered hopes that he might cause League Two many a headache next season.
