Who Was Your Man Of The Match?

Stuart McCall’s men left Shropshire with the three points in a smash and grab raid secured in a twenty minute period of the first half.

But who do you think deserves the nod for Man Of The Match? Simon Eastwood kept the visitors in the game in a frantic opening period. The back four continue to grow and develop with one another and Stuart will hope for freedom from injury and suspension.

Up front Gareth Evans scored another after being in the right place at the right time and was ably assisted by James Hanson, although both could well be in need of a rest.

But it’s surely the club’s engine room that is worthy of the plaudits.Stuart’s tactical approach is working well and Lee Bullock and James O’Brien, reportedly, played very well. Michael Flynn’s second goal of the week underlined his increasing influence and his natural leadership looks to be galvanising the youngsters around him.

Flynn is keen to make up for lost time bit is also demonstrably eager to encourage those around him and set them the example to follow.

Been in America for a couple of weeks now and the results have been 100%,I might have to stay a bit longer and McCall might make me eat my words!

America, got back from there a few weeks ago, matches start at 10am! Not knowing the scores untill a day later did my head in. Sunday morning opening up the paper expecting a 2-0 loss to find a 5-4 win is an awesome feeling though!
