The new home strip will officially be unveiled on Friday 4th July and we will be able to catch our first glimpse of the away kit when Bradford City play Burnley in a friendly on Tuesday 24th July.

In today’s Telegraph & Argus is reported news that will bring a smile to all our faces. The new home strip will be claret and amber, it will have stripes and is a ‘modern looking shirt with a retro twist’.

Are about to see the return of baggy shorts to Valley Parade (aka the Intersonic stadium)?

In the absence of any official confirmation the rumours are flying with claims that the stripes to which Gemma Honeyman, Surridge’s marketing and graphic designer referred are not vertical as we might expect, but horizontal referencing the original, hooped, claret and amber strip

Three and a half weeks til it’s launched. If it had been me I’d have launched it on the last day of the £138 season tickets, not five days later. But that’s just me I suppose…

Hopefully one day soon someone might release a picture?
