Men in Black For Exeter

The referee’s are certainly the most least popular men on the field for the full 90 minutes of a game. However we at vital bradford commend the men in black and white. As the ref’s take a lot of stick each week as they try to get on with their jobs, which we all know cannot be easy.

So just who are the team of 4 in charge of our beloved bantams today?

Well the man with the whistle for this weekend is C.H. Webster. Who has already handled that of the Championship this season. So he’s more than capable than producing a fair game this saturday.

On his team are P Dermott and A.J Scregg and the fourth official is P E Curry.

Can City pick up another win and possibly go top? Find out on Saturday!

(No, this is not big brother) 😛

again it’s another referee who has normally done their work higher up the leagues. There does seem to have been a definite shift towards ensuring we get the oversight of good match officials (Drysdale apart). Mind you, after last season’s horror show I think we deserved it…

Hope they are better than the bunch last night for England – they seemed intimidated by the home crowd & gave plenty of home decisions in the 1st half particularly against Heskey who only had to breath near a Croatian to concede a foul whilst it was fine for them to batter us. Thankfully they made amends in the 2nd although ironically I thought the sending off was slightly harsh but the no 3 should have gone earlier for a blatent professional foul on Rooney shortly after he had been booked for the exact same cynical body check on Walcott – it looked like even he thought he was going to be sent off! Fantastic result in the end although I felt we could have buried them by 6 or 7 if we had kept pressing instead of doing a ‘Bantams’ & messing around taking our foot off the gas when ahead – also if Rooney had stayed up front where he should have been alongside Heskey instead of chasing the ball around the field like an 8 year old!

I didn’t get to see what sounds like an entertaining England performance (typically I also missed the 5-1 defeat of Germany so may have missed out on the 2 times England play well in my lifetime) as I was at a dinner party. Sounds very promising.

Also nice to see George Burley and Scotland respond to all the paper talk this week with a win!

Have I missed something or is it those drugs you are taking for your glass-back Beakey?!

Ahh I did miss something – just noticed the name of the 4th official!
