It Begins At Home For Bradford City

We’re moving one step closer to the season with the announcing of next year’s fixtures and it’s a home start for the Bantams for the second year in a row.

Less than a week after I return from Honeymoon the season kicks off with Notts County the first visitors to the Coral Windows Stadium.

Last year our 3-0 demolition of the Magpies was one of the outstanding moments in a frustrating season, as was our 3-1 result away from home after we had gone behind.

So, if past performance means anything we should be licking our lips in anticipation at this opening day fixture.

Thus far our transfer business seems quite muted but we can boast the fantastic signing of Chris Brandon but our guests on August 9th have also been busy signing Bradford born players in the shape of striker Jamie Forrester from Lincoln City to boost a striking line up that only managed to find the back of the net 37 times.

Unfortunately, bizarre licensing laws mean Vital Football are not allowed to publish the fixtures. Data Co decide that advertising football matches is not in the best interests of the clubs.

So, if you want to see them in full you’ll need to visit the official website here.

Notts County have been one of the poorer sides in League Two in the last few seasons. It should be a nice easy three points first up.
