The amount of compensation that Bradford have to pay to Falkirk Mark Stewart has finally been confirmed.
Two-and-a-half-years after Stewart came to Valley Parade the Court of arbitration for Sport (CAS) agreed with the original decision from Fifa that Falkirk were entitled to a decent amount of ‘training compensation’ for the forward.
On Friday the CAS revealed that Fifa’s £200,000 compensation amount was about right with the Bantams being ordered to payout a fee around £160,000 for Stewart, who is long longer playing for Bradford.
Since leaving the club he’s moved around quite a bit playing for Hamilton, Dundee, Kilmarnock and is now playing for Derry City.
