The latest weekend of league one football is here, which means Bradford are back in action again.

Bradford’s latest fixture takes them to Greenhous Meadow on Saturday afternoon when they face Shrewsbury Town.

Key striker James Hanson (back) is rated as ‘doubtful’ for the Bantams but Bradford boss Phil Parkinson still hopes that he’ll be fit to return.

One that does look as though he can come back though is captain Gary Jones, who is over his injury problem.

Aaron Mclean had been struggling since his Bradford arrival but after scoring his first goal for the club in the last game Parkinson hopes that he can build on this with him looking for a Bantams performance too.

Speaking ahead of the game the Bradford boss told BBC Radio Leeds: ‘It was good for Aaron Mclean to get his first goal for the club and we’re all really pleased for him.

‘You can never sit back and assume you are safe and we certainly won’t be.

‘They put in a terrific performance at Wolves last week and were unlucky not to get a result there.

‘We have to make sure that we are fired up to put in the best performance that we can.’
