Bradford City have announced a new season ticket package designed to attract back missing fans.

Early Bird prices for 2006/07, which are valid until April 28, have been reduced by about 10% and there will be an easy payment plan of 10 equal monthly payments with no initial down payment.

Junior tickets will be available from £40 and there will be free season tickets for the under 11s.

Chairman Julian Rhodes also annoucned greater opportunity for season ticket holders to enjoy the benefits of the club’s hospitality suites.

He told the official website: ‘Special packages are available for the Chairman’s Suite, which will become a family room, The Patrons’ Suite and the Hendrie Suite. This, of course, is in addition to the ever popular Bantams’ Bar.’

Season ticket holders can try one of the suites free of charge at the Oldham match this Saturday (March 18) and the facilities will also be open from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, March 19.

Rhodes said: ‘Reducing prices, particularly when our costs still continue to be significant, is a gamble. So, too, is offering instalment facilities. However, we are determined, in so far as we can, to increase the numbers attending matches at the Bradford & Bingley Stadium, to improve the atmosphere and, of course, to make the stadium the fortress it used to be.

‘Please play your part. We need you to buy your season tickets and to encourage any lapsed supporters and friends to follow suit and join the Bradford City bandwagon. Let’s all do whatever we can to get our attendances back towards the 10,000 mark and let’s get back up the Football League.’

Rhodes also said an improved scheme was to be offered to the club’s original 25 Year Scheme.
