Heavy rain forced the postponement of Bradford City’s reserve game against Hartlepool on Wednesday.

The Pontin’s Holidays League Cup tie was called off only an hour before kick off because the downpour had left pools of standing water on the Valley Parade pitch.

No new date has been fixed yet for the game.

City reserves’ next fixture is away to Darlington in the same competition on November 1.
