As revealed last night, Kevin Ellison has now officially joined Bradford City until the end of the season and will make his debut on Saturday, allowing for Football League clearance.

Ellison has had an in and out type season over at the Don Valley Stadium and will come to City hoping to get more game time.

Ronnie Moore told Rotherham United’s Official Website ‘He’s been fantastic for me, things just haven’t panned out this season, but I’ve got fantastic respect for him.

‘He’s got great ability on the ball, an excellent delivery from set pieces and it will do him good to get some games in.’

Ellison, who has been signed by Peter Taylor numerous times before, was clearly excited at the prospect of playing for City and told the official website ‘It’s great to be at here at such a big club like Bradford. I hope I can bring some experience to the side and we can get some wins under our belts.I know how big a club Bradford are though, so there are many attractions to coming here. Everyone knows they get around 10,000 fans at home matches and those fans will come here with expectations. The current table doesn’t lie, but hopefully things can get better soon for the club.’

Ellison also commented on Peter Taylor, the man who gave him his first shot at professional football, ‘I’ve worked with the gaffer before and I like what he does, so him being here was obviously an attraction.’

Vital Bradford wishes Ellison all the luck in the world on his arrival at VP – he will definitely need it!
