Goodbye Sweet Form

Another Loss for the Bantams drops them down to 5th in the league. 4 points off 7th and 7 from 2nd. This brings us on a run of L,L,W,W,L the worst record in the top 15 teams in the league joint with Oxford.

That’s a sorry state for Bradford to be in regardless of where we are in the league. A good start has put us in the position we’re in but this form HAS to change.

Where’s the blame?
We can criticise the Board all we like, but we are looking to make signings and we know, as with Mellor of Blackpool, things can take an unexpected turn.

Today, we could blame McCall, the team and the bench were strong today and included the recently injured Charlie Wyke. Ironically, the big man scored from the penalty spot. But the tactics appeared to be lacking. wing backs today looked like the formation and in theory it could have worked, alas it didn’t.

For me one of the key problems we have is the McCall still has his favourites. Whether they play well or not they still stay in the team. One man in particular is Nicky Law. Constantly at the receiving end of criticism from fans and rightly so, its obvious some of his performances have been poor, yet we still insist on playing him.

So the question is.. where do we pass the blame?

This type of form only shows our weaknesses and these have been apparent for quite a while. It’s now the 20th of January and we’ve signed.. a Guy on loan. A Guy who is on the bench. A Guy, who, on the face of it is a League 2 player.

Where do we go from here Bantams fans? We surely cant be sacking McCall.. wrong time of year for that. Isn’t it?
