Do We or Don’t We

With Edin Rahic openly admitting Bradford had made a substantial offer for Keiffer Moore, despite him outpricing Peterborough, who by anyone’s standards are up there with the money, its worth asking WHY couldn’t we strike a deal with Luke Hendrie?

With Offers coming in for Tony McMahon we have also admitted we rejected the bid as we had no back up for him? Something isn’t striking the right chord here, but what is it?

Hendrie had travelled down to Yeovil with the team over the weekend for the FA CUp match, but was forced to leave his team mates, at the hotel, by all accounts in tears.

This is a local lad, who has masses of potential but we couldnt strike a deal with player or apparently, Burnley.

How can this happen? I was lead to believe we were there to promote youth and push out their potential with a likely investment to sell on at a later date? Surely he didn’t demand the same wages as the £10,000 PLUS of Moore. Have the board put all their eggs in one basket for a player who has had a decent 6 months?

If McCall didn’t want Hendrie, he wouldn’t have had him in his match squad. Whilst we can’t be overly negative, there does seem to be SOMETHING going on behind the scenes which seems har dto comprehend at the moment.

Only time will tell. Roll on the End of the window.
