Bradford’s preparations for the 2014/15 season ended with a home draw on Saturday.
Hartlepool, originally scheduled to be Morecambe before the league cup draw paired the Bantams and league 2 side together, came to Valley Parade on Saturday and the game ended in a 1-1 draw with the goals coming within a minute of each other.
The first half ended goalless with the second looking likely to go the same way until the game bust into life with a little under 20-minutes to play….
Bradley Walker drove Hartlepool into a one-nil lead but just a minute late Billy Clarke sent himself into the new season with a goal as he drew us level with the game ending in a one-all draw.
