Mark Yeates was one of the Bradford players that was rated as ‘doubtful’ for our FA Cup third round meeting with Millwall this week following his injury over the festive period.

Sadly a scan has confirmed that the midfielder will be missing from our midfield….

The knee injury that Yeates picked up over Christmas required him to go for a scan this week and ahead of the turn of the year it was confirmed that the results of this meant he wouldn’t be able to go with us to the Den on Saturday as we look to knock out the Championship outfit.

Positively though the knee damage is reported as ‘minimal’ so the Irishman shouldn’t be out for too long but the ‘slight ligament strain’ will be serious enough to keep him out this weekend – it’ll give someone else a change though, so we’ve got to take the silver lining from this.
