Bradford’s League 1 season play-off semi-final first leg ended a defeat against Millwall at Valley Parade on Sunday.

A seven-match winning home run was ended with Bradford having to come back from three-one down against Millwall following the first leg if we’re to make the play-off final.

An early Joe Martin handball gave Bradford the chance to take the lead from the penalty spot, which Tony McMahon took to have the Bantams ahead but Lee Gregory drew Millwall level two-minutes later.

Steve Morison and Martin goals ahead of half time left Millwall three-one up at the interval and in a strong position to make it into the final.

Filipe Morais could, and should, have got Bradford back into the match in the second half but he couldn’t take his chance meaning the Bantams will have to win by three clear goals in the second leg on Friday to make it through to the final.

These were the other results.

Sunday 15th May 2016
