The Bantams have been busy getting ready for the coming season. We’ve seen encouraging signs during the friendlies but the most recent, Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Barnsley, shows that Stuart still has holes to plug and solutions to find before we take on what is likely to be the most hyped opening fixture to a League Two season ever. Our visit to Sven-Goran Eriksson’s Notts County is when all the pre-season hope, expectation and effort is replaced by the brutal reality of a third season in League Two.

But it’s not just at Valley Parade and Apperley Bridge that the hard work has been going on over these last few weeks. At Vital HQ (located somewhere deep in the heart of the Midlands) there have also been blood, sweat and tears as the Vital Network has undergone a transformation!

This season I’d like to see more people contributing to Vital Bradford, sharing their hopes and fears about the season ahead. Have you always had a burning ambition to write a match report? Do you love hunting down the latest gossip from BD8? Or have you read an article in the T&A, on BfB or here that you’ve disagreed with but not had anywhere to respond publicly?

Then what are you waiting for? Come and get stuck in!

Fancy writing? Then send your articles to

Think I’m wrong? Then comment on the articles or post in the forum.

Looking for banter? Once signed in you can visit any forums or comment on any articles across the Vital Network.

I hope you like the new-look Vital Bradford and I look forward to sharing the coming season with you (whatever it brings).
