Valley Parade Bound For Villa

Bradford have doubts over defender James Meredith who missed the trip to Barnet on Saturday. Meredith is thought to have the virus which has hit various members of the squad, each having a different recovery time. Under fire striker James Hanson is also a doubt with a knock picked up at Underhill on Saturday. I think that losing Hanson tonight will be a blow, the team are used to having Hanson up top and though he is not prolific I don`t think we have a player like him as a replacement. I feel that the replacements would be McHugh and Connell respectively.

We have lacked width in our last two games, will Parky stick with Ravenhill or will Kyel Reid play. I am not sure if Reid was being rested at the weekend with tonight in mind, any thoughts?

For Villa Darren Bent has come back into the team in recent weeks though leading scorer Christian Benteke is available tonight? I wonder which way Lambert will go?
Lambert also has Gabby Agbonlahor fit and pushing for a place.

The passion and togetherness of the City team should ensure that the tie remains in the balance for the trip to Birmingham.

Villa are aware that they will be in a game tonight. Let`s be clear Bradford City we are no minnows in this competition, 10000 per week in league 2 would be my proof of this.
Parkinson has stated that we are a sizable club and the cup run has built on this reputation.
‘That’s really important for us,’ said Parkinson. ‘It’s a big club, a sleeping giant and we’re trying to reawaken it.
‘The win against Arsenal certainly reminded everybody that Bradford City is up and running and starting to get going again. Another really good performance would be great for the city again.’

Place you prediction on our poll! For me its 2-1 to City with Wells and Connell late on from the bench.

Always had a soft spot for Bradford after working there for almost a year. The Beehive pub and the many great curry houses and a club or night out called ‘car wash’ if I remember. Anyway, I think it will be close and call a Villa win 1-0. Irrespective, with your gates you should be out of League 2 so I will wish you all the best with that.

    Cheers cropped.
1-0 will that be enough or would you still be nervous?
