Ahead of the Barnsley game, of course drawn nil-nil at Oakwell that saw Bradford take a welcome point but this leaves the Bantams still seeking a first win of the campaign, the Official Website announced the double loan signings of Reece Burke and Lee Evans.

Burke, signed from West Ham for a month, and Evans from Wolves until January were added to the Bantams squad ahead of the weekend as Phil Parkinson increased his options with the duo’s arrivals.

At only 18, and having already made five Premier League appearances for West Ham, central defender Burke looks to have a very promising future ahead of him at Upton Park with the Hammers but for the next month, at least, he’ll be at Valley Parade.

Parkinson needed another central defender and Burke, the Young Player of the Year at West Ham last season, fits the bill nicely!

That arrival was swiftly followed by an announcement that 21-year-old Evans had also come to Valley Parade in a loan spell, however this one will be running for longer as he’s scheduled to remain until 9th January.

Welsh U21 international midfielder Evans, who has since been handed an international call again, was a key member of the Wolves squad that went into the Championship from League 1 in 2013/14 and played 18-matches at that level for Wolves last season.

Barnsley is now out of the way but another upcoming away fixture in League 1 is Oldham at, as football should be played, 3pm on Saturday 5th September!

Ticket details for this game at the ‘ Park’, or simply Boundary Park, have been released on the Official Website, with them as follows:-

Adults – £22.00
Over 65s – £12.00
Under 16s – £10.00
Under 12 – £5.00 (when accompanied by adult)
