Game of the day this week is arguably being played out at Adams Park, Wycombe, where they are hosting John Sheridan`s Chesterfield side. If Chesterfield they will cement their place in the top two, but losing would see Wycombe only one point behind them and would drag them back into the play off pack.

There is another massive game at the opposite end of the table where managerless Hereford travel to fellow strugglers Northampton. Northampton manager Ian Sampson is rumoured to be a couple of bad results from the fire, while Hereford run the risk of being cut adrift if they don`t halt their winless run. Fellow strugglers Barnet make the trip up north to Stockport where they face a side capable of scoring goals, but just as capable of conceding.

Rotherham make the short trip across the pennies to face Accrington as they try to catch Port Vale at the top of the league. Accrington will be looking for a boost after resigning from the JP Trophy during the week. Port Vale will be looking to capitalise on Gillingham`s horrendous run of 32 games without an away win to cement their place at the top of the league.

Torquay make one of many long trips north this weekend to face Bury in another of the top of the table clashes. Torquay`s form has dipped in recent weeks after their blistering start to the season. Oxford will look to continue their impressive transition into League Two as they face Macclesfield and two of the leagues newer teams face each other as Burton host Stevenage.

Elsewhere Aldershot host Morecambe, Lincoln travel to Shrewsbury and Dario Gradi’s Crewe side face Southend at Roots Hall.
