It’s an away fixture for us this time round as Bradford look to get back into play-off contention.

Bradford battled back to earn a point against Colchester last week, back to reality after the Chelsea win, we’re at Vale Park today against Port Vale in our latest league 1 game as we seek a first league win in three.

Port Vale will be without Ben Williamson (minor hamstring tear) but Tom Pope (jaw) has recovered to return with Achille Campion (bruised ribs) also back with loan signings Greg Luer and Tommy O’Sullivan also in contention. Louis Dodds (broken toe) is out again.

Our transfer deadline day arrival from Blackpool of Gary MacKenzie (Achilles) had been laid low by injury this season but he could be in contention for his first start of the campaign, a place on the bench is most likely.

Without any fresh injury concerns from the draw last weekend the only changes made could be what Phil Parkinson decided, with Mark Yeates and Billy Clarke looking for recalls.
