It’s a break from league 1 action for Bradford tonight as we return to league cup action, seeking to continue our progress for another season.

Bradford head to the stadium:mk to face Milton Keynes Dons tonight, the scene of a four-nil thrashing of Manchester United in the second round.

Benik Afobe, on of those that tormented United that evening, could earn a recall after coming on to score in MK Dons’ weekend hammering of Crewe Alexandra. Lee Hodson (ankle) is out and Danny Green (hamstring) also doubtful.

We have some doubts over Stephen Darby (groin) and Mark Yeates (shoulder), so Phil Parkinson might have to do without them.

Bradford will also be missing James Hanson (thigh strain) and Alan Sheehan as he continues his suspension.

In a repeat of a league 1 fixture, just a week ago, we look to win at the stadium:mk again, which we have managed on four of our last meetings including that two-one win last week.

Repeating history is certainly something that Gary Liddle is looking for and looking forward to.

Ahead of the game he was quote on BBC Sport as saying: ‘It’s a case of ‘can we repeat it?’ That’s the challenge.

‘It’s another big test for us and we’ll go into the game as underdogs again – exactly the same as last Tuesday – and we’ll relish it.’
