Alan Sheehan is nearing the end of his latest loan spell away from Bradford but the likelihood is he’ll not be expected back at Valley Parade when his loan expires at the end of the year, which an extended spell with Notts County something he’s said he’s hopeful of securing.

Sheehan returned to Meadow Lane earlier in the season with him making 14 appearances for County so far with him scheduled to make another two under the terms of his present loan but he’s told the BBC he’s hopeful of staying where he’s ‘happiest.’

‘I would like to stay. I am living in by best mate’s spare room, so it is not ideal being on loan. We’ll talk and we’ll see what we can come to, but I am happiest when I am playing for Notts County.’

The 29-year-old, as I say, will get this wish granted I’m sure as I can’t see him coming back into Phil Parkinson’s plans in the New Year.

On the topic of that (the New Year) the Official Website has released the ticket details for the FA Cup third round.

Bradford look forward to continued involvement in the FA Cup for (at least) one more round and have a third round meeting with Bury, which is the tie the Bantams were given following last Monday’s draw.

League 1 rivals Bury will welcome us to Gigg Lane on Saturday 19th January with a 3pm kick-off time set along with the announcement of the ticket details also released too. They went on sale today to ‘priority away ticket member’ until Monday at these prices, with other sale windows to follow with them priced as follows.

Concessions: £12.00
Under 11s: £6.00
Under 5s: FREE

Family ticket prices are also available.
