Shaymen sign ex-Bantams

Danny Forrest has joined Halifax Town on a permanent basis following his release by Bradford City.

The 21-year-old striker spent last season on loan at the Shay.

Defender Jake Wright, 20, has also made the move from Valley Parade after an earlier loan spell.

Forrest scored a sensational debut on his home debut for the Bantams against Ipswich in 2003 but later fell out of favour with Colin Todd.
