Bradford know, following the draw on Monday, if Aldershot Town are seen off in next weeks first round replay the Bantams will face Chesham United in the FA Cup second round.

However, as far as Stephen Darby is concerned, with what he told the Telegraph & Argus, the only focus is the replay with Aldershot and that alone!

Southern League side Chesham, who caused an upset when knocking out League 2 side Bristol Rovers, would represent another tough task for Bradford but Darby isn’t looking at anything other than the Shots replay!

He said a ‘professional approach’ will be taken with him hopeful it’ll be enough to get the win.

‘We know from the game down there that Aldershot are a good side and when the replay comes round, we’ve got to be really focused and on it.

‘We’ve seen over the weekend from games like Salford City that upsets do happen if teams don’t have the right mentality and under-estimate their opponents.

‘They will come to our place and see the pitch, the ground and the fans and enjoy the atmosphere. That’s something we’ve got to deal with.

‘We know that visiting teams will raise their game at Valley Parade and we’ve got to be professional enough to be able to handle it.’

Bradford, as we know, are no strangers to upsets in the FA Cup so the Bantams will know, better than most what this is like.

Darby added the original tie being as tough as it was didn’t surprise the Bantams captain, or anyone else at the club, as they weren’t expecting anything less.

‘We know too well from our experiences over the last couple of seasons what those games are like, whether you are the underdog or the favourites.

‘We knew we had to apply ourselves with the right attitude and mentality going to Aldershot. It was no surprise to us how tough the game was because we knew they were a good side.’
