Phil Parkinson might have missed out on the running to become the league one Manager of the Month for September but Bradford do have a player in the running for this.

Surprisingly three wins and a draw last month wasn’t enough to see Parkinson among the four nominees, so he’ll not be gaining that accolade which is a shame.

That being said when collected how often does it prove to be a jinx!

Kyel Reid could scoop the Player of the Month gong though. A fine month of form has seen the winning earn a nomination.

He’ll be competing with Britt Assombalonga (Peterborough), Scott Laird (Preston) and David Mooney (Leyton Orient), with the winner announced on Friday.

Reid had been instrumental in the impressive October run but will his form have been good enough to see him win this awarded to make it a second successive Bantams win following Nahki Well’s winning of it last month?
