Bradford City are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Jamie Proctor in the two one victory over Doncaster Rovers at the weekend at Valley Parade was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Proctor was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Another man at the double was Proctor, whose brace earned Bradford a derby day victory over Yorkshire rivals Doncaster Rovers. Perhaps even more significant was that the 2-1 win elevated the Bantams into sixth – the fourth and final Sky Bet League 1 Play-Off place.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Proctor for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Scott Loach (Notts County), Tom Lockyer (Bristol Rovers), Bruno Ecuele Manga (Cardiff City), Sonny Bradley (Crawley Town), John Brayford (Sheffield United), Nathaniel Mendez-Laing (Rochdale), Jake Gray (Hartlepool United), Tjaronn Chery (QPR), Sam Mantom (Walsall), Mark Duffy (Burton Albion), Jamie Proctor (Bradford City).

Manager – Rob Page (Port Vale).
