Bradford were beaten 1-0 at Plymouth at the weekend but Phil Parkinson believes his side deserved more.

Parkinson feels that Bradford ‘deserved more’ than they got as they did ‘everything but score’ at Home Park: ‘we did everything but score. We deserved something from the game. We did more than enough in terms of chances, and the number of goalmouth scrambles, but it just didn’t happen for us.

‘We were just waiting for someone to put their foot through the ball and it to end up in the back of the net. It just didn’t happen for us. I thought it was a real shame that we gave that goal away today because it was a soft goal.

‘I thought in the first half we had control of the game and in the second half, obviously, we went for it as the half wore on to get the goal back.

‘We did everything bar put the ball in the back of the net.’

Something, a point at least, may well have been deserved by Bradford but at the end of the day goals win games and Bradford’s inability to score meant that they lost, with that being all ‘the record books’ will show!

Harsh, maybe, but true isn’t it?
