Bradford are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performances by Bradford in the Easter Weekend victories over Millwall and Crewe Alexandra was enough to earn Parkinson a place as manager of the most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Parkinson was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Two 1-0 victories for Parkinson’s Bradford saw them move into the Sky Bet League 1 Play-Offs, beginning with Saturday’s success over Millwall – substitute Steven Davies netting to end the Lions’ six-game unbeaten run. Just 48 hours later, the Bantams were back in action, coming away from Crewe Alexandra with the same result courtesy of Jamie Proctor’s winning goal.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Parkinson for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the wins.

Full Team:

Trevor Carson (Hartlepool United), George Williams (Barnsley), Brian Wilson (Oldham Athletic), Michael Harriman (Wycombe Wanderers), Kyle Bennett (Portsmouth), Scott Brown (Accrington Stanley), Jason Kennedy (Carlisle United), Gavin Massey (Colchester United), Tom Hopper (Scunthorpe United), Jamille Matt (Plymouth Argyle), Ollie Watkins (Exeter).

Manager – Phil Parkinson (Bradford City).
