Phil Parkinson insists that he is happy with the players he has so far brought to Bradford this summer, however he does want to add more before the season kicks-off next month.

Ideally Parkinson wants players in for the pre-season opener against Guiseley next weekend.

The Bantams boss knows that his side are still ‘light’ in terms of numbers and he does want more but he is happy with how the first week of pre-season training went, and he’ll continue to look at some trialists he has, but now training will step up as will his attentions to signing new players.

Parkinson admitted he has been ‘frustrated’ in his efforts to sign some so far, telling the Telegraph & Argus: ‘I’m pleased with what we’ve got in but obviously we do need more because numbers are light. We’ve got a few trialists in and we’ll continue to have a look at them.

‘Training is going well and I was pleased with the first week. Now we’ll start to do some more ball work building up to Guiseley.’

The Bradford boss is said to be targeting another five arrivals before the league 1 season kicks-off but do you think he can get them?
