Technically I suppose a deal with former QPR chairman Gianni Paladini could still be agreed but he’s failed to reach an agreement with Bradford to take over during his exclusivity period.

An extension to the initial interest that the Italian had shown was granted but this has now expired so other interested parties could now seek talks with the Bantams.

The Official Website released a statement confirming that Julian Rhodes and Mark Lawn will continue to run the club.

‘As of Friday 29th May, the exclusivity period agreement with Mr Gianni Paladini has ended without a deal being completed.

‘The joint chairmen, Julian Rhodes and Mark Lawn, will continue to run the Club as they have being doing, planning to take Bradford City forward into the new season at an exciting time for the Club and its supporters.’

Such plans for this scenario were always in place so we shouldn’t be overly concerned as we’ll still be well placed to kick on, at least look to kick on, from last season.
