Bradford have announced that Rory McArdle’s long-term future has been secured after he agreed the new deal offered to him.

McArdle was one of those going out of contract this summer, however he’ll now be spending the next three-years at least at Valley Parade having agreed a new three-year deal to take him through until the summer of 2017.

The Northern Ireland international was a regular for Phil Parkinson last season and has been instrumental in the clubs rise from league two into midtable stability of league one and with his help the club will be looking to build on this in the years ahead.

McArdle’s commitment to the Bantams is great news isn’t it?
