The Football Association have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Bury this midweek.

Bradford City host Bury on Tuesday January 19 for the FA Cup Third Round replay at Valley Parade and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Geoff Eltringham
Linesmen: Andrew Miller and Nicholas Hopton
Fourth Official: Trevor Kettle

Match Day referee Eltringham (County Durham) has officiated one Bradford game this season – the two nil win over Crewe in November. He didn’t show a single card in that game.

He has however already taken in 24 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 60 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Bolton and Birmingham on October 20 with a total of seven yellow cards shown. Earlier in the season he showed four yellows and two red in the game between Brentford and Sheffield Wednesday back in September. On January 2 between Chesterfield and Shrewsbury he also showed six yellow cards and one red card.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
