Bradford City left Lincolnshire with just a point after their Boxing Day exertions resulted in an entertaining stalement.

Chances were few but the Bantams will feel happier with their first away draw than their hosts who may feel they did enough to win the game.

Nevertheless, back to back clean sheets say a lot about a Bradford City defence that looks to have come through a particularly sticky patch renewed and revitalised (purely coincidental that it should follow the return of Paul Arnison to the starting XI?). So, is the captain that gets your nod for the Man of the Match or perhaps it’s Matt Clarke? Or have either Paul McLaren or Nicky Law done enough to convince you? The honour should probably go to Rhys Evans whose save from Adrian Patulea played a large part in ensuring we remained on level terms.

The Man of the Match from the Chester game was Steve Jones whose performances have got more and more impressive as his stay at Valley Parade has continued. Whispers are beginning to circulate that he may well be staying at the club beyond January but once Chris Brandon and Joe Colbeck are back to fitness it is difficult to see where he might fit into a squad that is arguably pretty well stocked with wingers (particularly with Sean Taylforth and Leon Osborne potentially waiting in the wings as future prospects). Nevertheless, congratulations Steve on becoming the 10th different recipient of the popular vote!
