Bradford increased their defensive options ahead of the league one defeat to Brentford with the signing of Adam Drury.

The 35-year-old, who hasn’t seen much football for Leeds United this season and has in fact just managed three first-team appearances for the championship outfit, had joined the Bantams on loan for an initial one-month loan spell.

Drury had spent over a decade with Norwich City before joining Leeds in 2012 and with his contract at Elland Road expiring at the end of the season he’ll know, assuming he plans to continue his footballing career, he’ll need to get some minutes on the pitch under his belt as he looks to extend his Leeds spell or more likely earn a contract elsewhere.

If it works out for the veteran at Valley Parade perhaps something longer than a month will come about and Phil Parkinson could even look at him for next season too?
