Bradford’s time in Ireland has come to an end, the traditional pre-season break will again benefit the club you would think though.

Playing time wise this ended with a conformable win over first division outfit Shelbourne at Tolka Park, with the Bantams running out 4-0 victors.

A first half penalty from Alan Sheehan, awarded after Willo McDonagh had handled Sheehan’s own cross, put as ahead with Billy Clarke soon adding a second to see us into half time two-nil up.

Early in the second half Clarke struck again before Raffaele De Vita continued to battle back from injury and prove himself to Phil Parkinson with a fourth 12-minutes from time.

Among plenty used on the afternoon trialists Angelo Balanta and Nick Arnold again featured, along with another unnamed trialist who wore no.15.
