On Tuesday, Jordan Gibson completed his transfer to Bradford.

Former Rangers winger Gibson has signed for City on a one year deal following a successful trial during the summer.

Gibson was born in England but had spent two years in Scotland with Rangers as part of the Gers’ U20 side – his move to Bradford will see him become part of the Development Squad.

During his trial during the summer Gibson, 19, scored against Sunderland, in a pre-season defeat with the Championship side, but couldn’t complete a transfer to City until international clearance was received.

Commenting on his arrival he told the Official Website: ‘The lads have all helped me settle in really well – the young boys and the older ones as well. The friendlies this summer were my first chance playing in a first team environment, especially at this sort of level. I am very grateful to the manager to have been given this opportunity over the summer. Scoring against Sunderland in front of the Kop was a great feeling.’

The winger feels he was able to show a little of what he can do during his pre-season outings and is now hopeful of further chances from Stuart McCall to impress some more.

He added: ‘I feel I’ve only shown the fans glimpses of what I can do – I feel there is more to come. I believe in myself and my ability, and I know I have to show even more. Hopefully I can go out in games now and show what I can do.’
