When the FA cup first round draw was made on Monday Bradford knew that they would be taking on a non-league opponent, although we didn’t know which one.

It was either FC Halifax Town or Chorley FC, who needed to replay in their fourth qualifying round, and this took place on Tuesday night.

Coming through 5-0 at the Shay Stadium, with Phil Parkinson looking on, we now know that it’ll be Halifax that we take on in the first round the weekend after next.

We’ll be on the road, heading to the Shay in what will be the first competitive fixture since a league cup tie at the Shay back in 1998.
