We know the postponement last week will mean some can return for Bradford in tonight’s rearranged second round JPT tie with Barnsley, with Phil Parkinson confirming as much to the Official Website.

Parkinson can call upon Rory McArdle, James Meredith and Lee Evans, who he couldn’t have for the tie if it had been played last Tuesday, after they returned from international duty with him ‘assessing’ his options.

Christopher Routis and Kyel Reid seem likely to miss out though.

The Bradford game tonight will come too soon for former Fleetwood man Josh Morris but his return to training, and Billy Clarke’s, could give the Bantams a boost ahead of Wigan this weekend?

Morris has been sidelined by his knee injury since this was sustained against Fleetwood last month but it’s expected he’ll be given the all clear to return to training this week so could be in contention to face Wigan when League 1 action resumes for Bradford!

Clarke, whilst his return from his own injury wouldn’t see him back for that one he too could be back in training after it.

Parkinson said.

‘Josh was due to have his final day with Matt (Barrass, Head Physio) today (Monday) so we will just see how he has gone with that.

‘If everything has gone well, he should be allowed to go back into training.

‘Billy’s aim is to be back in training within two weeks and that will be a big boost for us. We just have to make sure that he is absolutely right before we get him on the pitch though.’
