Concerns that Andrew Davies could miss Bradford’s meeting with Brentford this weekend seem to have been ease.

Phil Parkinson ‘voiced his concern’ early this week after the defender had to come off against Stevenage Borough last weekend but his neural problem, which he suffered with at the end of last season is something that can be ‘managed’.

Steve Parkin doesn’t think it’s too serious and doesn’t see why he shouldn’t be fit to feature in the league one this fixture this weekend.

The Bradford assistant boss told the official website: ‘It is a minor neural problem that forced him off last weekend.

‘It is something that flared up a little bit last season for him as well but we fully expect him to be fit, able and ready to play at the weekend.’

Parkin also spoke of his delight at seeing Rory McArdle gain another cap for Northern Ireland in the week but more importantly he can come back fit and ready with McArdle and Davies set to resume their defensive partnership.
