Bradford City are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this midweek’s action.

The performance by Josh Cullen in the one nil victory over Northampton Town on Tuesday at The Valley was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Cullen was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Bradford produced a dominant home display against Northampton, despite the narrow margin of victory at Valley Parade. Cullen earned the Man of the Match honour in the 1-0 win, pulling the strings in midfield for the fourth-placed Bantams.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Cullen for his recognition, but the most important thing about the match was of course the win.

Full Team:

Ben Alnwick (Bolton Wanderers), Bira Dembele (Barnet), Tom Eastman (Colchester United), Curtis Nelson (Oxford United), Ollie Turton (Crewe Alexandra), Adam Chicksen (Charlton Athletic), Michael Doyle (Portsmouth), Josh Cullen (Bradford City), Liam McAlinden (Exeter City), David Ball (Fleetwood Town), Steven Davies (Rochdale).

Manager – Danny Wilson (Chesterfield).
