Crooks the bad boy?

Bantams boss Colin Todd has laid into midfielder Lee Crooks following his dismissal against Kidderminster in the LDV Vans Trophy northern section quarter-final defeat.

Bradford were taking the Trophy seriously, they fielded a full-strength team, but were knocked out of the competition 2-1 at the hands of Kidderminster Harriers who are now a Conference side.

The game was but seven minutes old when Crooks received his marching orders after a clumsy challenge on Harriers’ Lee Thompson. The Bantams were then faced with an uneven battle for the rest of the game. All 83 minutes of it!

Colin Todd speaking in Telegraph & Argus said ‘His self-discipline was nil, he had to go and that punished us.

‘There was no need to tackle in that position and it was an outrageous tackle. He’s let everyone else down because the game was there for the taking.’

I wonder what the club will do as regards a penalty? Withdraw his Christmas part invitation?
