Bradford’s aim for Sunday is a win to secure a top 10 finish in League 1, obviously not what we wanted but we’ll prefer this to the predicament that our hosts Crewe are faced with!

If we win at Gresty Road then the chances are Crewe will be relegated into League 2, so we could be faced with that couldn’t we….

Crewe could be without Stoke loanee Jamie Ness (calf strain) but will have Anthony Grant (head) and Ryan Colclough (fatigue) will be fit to feature. Ben Garratt (broken leg) made his return from injury on the bench last time round with Matt Tootle (ankle) and Harry Davis (calf) both possibilities to return but Alan Tate (ankle) and Chris Atkinson (dislocated shoulder) are out.

Phil Parkinson will, it seems, end the season with the same starting XI that beat Barnsley last time round with ‘no new injury problems’ to content with but Filipe Morais (knee) and Mark Yeates (shoulder) do both miss out.

Alan Sheehan and Oliver McBurnie have returned from loan spells with Peterborough and Chester, respectively, so could play a part but Blackpool loanees Gary MacKenzie and Francois Zoko have returned to their parent club.

You don’t ever, really, want to be the side that relegates another club – some exceptions aside – but we’ll want to win at Crewe and end the season positively, but can we do this?
