Tranmere Rovers were condemned to relegation into league two after Bradford beat them at Prenton Park on Saturday afternoon.

Bradford came from behind to beat Tranmere two-one at the weekend, which meant that Phil Parkinson’s men were the side that relegated them.

Parkinson has backed them to bounce back though as he feels they are a ‘terrific football club’ with the younger players in place that could help them come back.

Following the game he told the media: ‘My commiserations go to Tranmere because it is a terrific football club.

‘I know they will be back because they have a fantastic set of supporters to galvanise the players. And they have some good youngsters who can help move them forward.’

Not that it impacts on Bradford of course but do you think Parkinson is right and Tranmere will bounce back
