Bradford’s faint, almost certainly over anyway, play-off hopes will end once and for all tonight if we’re not able to beat League 1 leaders Bristol City at Valley Parade.

Defeat against Gillingham on Saturday almost certainly ended our chances of getting into the top six as we’re now seven-points adrift of Chesterfield, even though we’ve got a game in hand we’re ‘patching up’ a squad now so it’ll take a massive effort, not only to bridge that gap but start to do so with a win tonight, you feel….

Phil Parkinson has said, going into this, that ‘several players were nursing knocks’ after the one-nil defeat on Saturday but it isn’t thought that anyone is a ‘major doubt’ to miss out.

Gary MacKenzie (ankle) made it into that game and played the majority of it so should be involved again with Andy Halliday (hamstring) seeking a recall after several weeks out.

Christopher Routis (suspension) continues to sit out though.

Bristol City will definitely secure promotion is they win tonight and they come to Valley Parade with ‘no fresh injury worries’ to boot as they look to extend an unbeaten run to 13-matches as well.

Having lost just three-matches away this season the task ahead of us is even more daunting but we know we’ve got to win tonight, but will we?
