Bradford continue to be hampered injuries, which could leave manager Phil Parkinson looking to move into the loan transfer market.

With injuries piling up and the fixtures coming thick and fast Steve Parkin, as he told the official website, feels The Bantams could well make some loan moves: ‘We have three cup games in December, plus six league matches. Nine matches in a month with injuries to Luke Oliver, Andrew Davies and Kyel Reid.

‘With the other injuries we have around the squad at the moment, I think it is important to assess them in the next couple of days and if we have to strengthen, then we must do so.’

Luke Oliver (Achilles), Andrew Davies (knee) and Kyel Reid (groin) are long-term injury absentees with James Meredith (hip) and Zavon Hines (ankle) also facing be sidelined if scans reveal bad new, while Stephen Darby (groin strain) is also struggling.
