Rotherham fans might feel a little hard done by this evening after seeing an inspired Rhys Evans stand between them and their hopes of further pulling away from the relegation zone.

Despite recording 20 goal bound efforts according to the BBC (8 of which were on target) the hosts couldn’t make any of those chances count.

Instead, the more modest 8 efforts on goal resulted in a two goal victory for the Bantams with moments that are well-worth ensuring you catch the Championship in the morning as first Luke O’Brien and then Nicky Law scored from outside the box to secure an away win for Stuart McCall’s men.

It was Luke O’Brien’s first goal for the club as he further strengthens his claim to the left back berth after brilliantly coming in for Paul Heckingbottom what seems like ages ago. It was also Nicky Law’s first goal for the Bantams in this loan spell.

City go into next weekend’s FA Cup game against Leyton Orient in buoyant mood after this win lifts them to 30 points and into 4th place.
