An appeal against the decision to “expel the club” from the FA Cup has been put in by Bradford.

The statement of intent, on the official website, read: ‘Bradford City Football Club can confirm that they will be appealing The FA’s decision to expel the club from this season’s FA Cup competition.’

An error of an “administrative technical nature” was behind the club being booted out of the FA Cup, written permission wasn’t received for Bradford to field on loan Newcastle defender Curtis Good.
